EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Introduction to American Sign Language
This program is for both families that have loved ones that are deaf and/or hard of hearing as well as for people interested in learning a new skill! No prior experience with signing is necessary, and basic conversation skills will be introduced in a fun, unique learning environment.
Families are encouraged to register together! This is also a great class for teachers and coaches who will be working with deaf students.

BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS—
Become familiar with basic computer use and terminology as well as how to access the Internet and learn about services online in this 2 hour workshop. Topics covered: how a computer works; hardware, software and operating systems; computer components and ports– and how to connect external devices; basic security and troubleshooting techniques; and understanding and accessing the Internet.

Adult Scrapbooking
Everyone should enjoy their photos and memories! Come and discover just how fun and easy scrapbooking can be. We'll teach you everything you need to know about working with embellishments, inking, paper tearing and color blocking. There will be special weekly theme and page layout included in instruction.

Youth & Family Scrapbooking
This unique program is offered for children ages 7yrs and up and their parents. Participants will learn to create scrapbooks together, making fun memory books and unique crafts. Themes will be geared towards youth and teen interests. Parent participation is optional.

Boston City Singers Training Chorus Program
This afterschool choral program is designed to develop the performer in your child. Children will learn new music and develop their vocal skills with a choral director. This program will conduct performances in conjunction with the Boston City Singer Choral Program around the City of Boston.

Leahy-Holloran CC Preschool/K1: The Leahy-Holloran Community Center offers a developmentally appropriate program designed to provide loving care for children in a healthy, safe and happy environment. We provide the children an environment that is stimulating, challenging and rich in discovery experiences. Children are encouraged to explore their talents and abilities. Our curriculum is designed to encourage the development of social, emotional, cognitive and creative skills. This program is a fully licensed and accredited program for children aged 3 to 5 years.

FAMILY BOOK CLUB
A more fun way to share stories and instill literacy with a child in your life. This program is run in partnership with the Adams Street Library and the BPS Murphy School.
For Youth in Grades 3 –5 and 6 –8 with an accompanying adult. We meet the second Wednesday of the Month at 6:30 PM. Books, refreshments and prizes are provided!
