Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the Leahy-Holloran Community Center and thank you for choosing to send your child to camp this summer. Our goal at the Leahy-Holloran Community Center Summer Camp is to provide your child with an opportunity to join other neighborhood children in a fun, safe and engaging program during out of school time. We hope you child will learn new skills, be exposed to new experiences, develop healthy relationships and learn to work well with others.
Please take a moment to review the following camp information to help you prepare for your child’s time at camp. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Leahy-Holloran Community Center at 617 635-5150.

Leahy-Holloran Community Center Summer Camp 2010
Camp begins Monday July, 12 at 9:00am. On the first day of camp we will meet in cafeteria
A current health form or immunization record must be on file in order for child to start camp, there will be no exceptions.
If your child has allergies, please notify your camp counselor on the first day of camp.
Please apply sun block to your child prior to arriving at camp.
Attire – the camp curriculum includes recreational and pool activities. Children should come to camp each day with a bag pack, in recreational clothing, appropriate sneakers and with a bathing suit & towel.
Lunch – lunch is provided every day but you may send your child with a lunch if you prefer. A copy of the lunch menu can be provided upon request. Snack is optional and can be sent in with the camper.
After Camp – if your child enrolled or you plan on signing up for the after camp enrichment program please call PRIOR to first day to of camp to confirm your child’s attendance
If your child is to be absent from camp you must call and inform the camp director at 617 635-5150

After a long summer renovation last year, the staff at the LHCC are proud to announce that summer camp is
back at the Leahy Holloran Community Center. This fun day camp program provides swimming daily, arts
and crafts and sports activities, as well as weekly field trips for all. Children will be assigned to groups according to age, and spaces are limited. All slots for camp are filled on a first come, first served basis.
After Camp Enrichment Program
NEW for Summer 2010 ! After Camp Enrichment Program (For ages 5—11 years)
Recreational Activities and Swimming Activities will be provided at the LHCC Mondays—Fridays 2—5 PM Cost: $5/ hr per child or $175 per child for 3 weeks . Registration required 1 week in advance of participation.
