Monster Swim Team Practices

This Co-ed recreational program is designed to introduce competitive swimming to youth in a fun and team oriented manner. No prior experience is necessary, but youth must be able to successfully complete the "DEEP END" test using proper front crawl stroke and rotary breathing.

Practices will begin the week of November 29, 2011

Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30p to 7:30p and Saturday practices will start in January 9:30a to 11:00a

Gendreau Jewelers of Billings Rd in N. Quincy has created a one-of-a kind piece of DOT jewelry. Please check out the pictures attached! GendreauJewlers will be donating a portion of the proceeds from every DOT charm sold to our center! (see attached) If you do not have a bracelet already they can be purchased at their store starting @ $65. DOT charms are $80 for all silver and $85 w/white or black enamel. Sure to be on the top of every DOT or OFD Christmas list!!! Also, DOT and OFD decals are for sale at the front desk of the LHCC for $2

Open Hours - Tuesdays – 4:30-8:00. Thursdays -3:30-6:00, Fridays – 5:30-9:30

LHCC SUMMER JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Boston Youth Fund allows the LHCC to choose 40 % of the summer job positions allocated. In order to apply for one of those positions you must meet the following eligibility requirements.

1) Current LHCC membership

2) Complete at least 15 community service hours at the LHCC between Sept 1-April 3st

3) Participate in a minimum of 2 teen center activities

Please note you MUST still register with the City of Boston Hopeline

BOS TRAX SCANNING SYSTEM

The LHCC scanning system is up and running. Scanning devices are located on the community center front desk - All members are required to be scanning in and out every time you enter the community center - please REMEMBER your cards when you visit the center
